Satisfying that need has been the success of 5001 FLAVORS, a custom-made apparel company that has supplied the entertainment industry with tailored clothing of the highest caliber since 1990. Since that time, such high-profile clients as Will Smith, Aretha Franklin, Jennifer Lopez, Jamie Foxx, Lebron James, Queen Latifah, Jay Z and Shaquille ONeal have commissioned our designers to make butter-soft leather pants, high-octane fur jackets, sleek business suits and many other stylish garments. From Sean P. Diddy Combs to Mariah Carey, Scott Stapp to Timbaland, Hezekiah Walker to Usher, Jadakiss to Raven Symone, N'Sync to the late great Notorious BIG, 5001 FLAVORS maintains an impressive clientele list and formidable brand recognition in the music industry. The Harlem-based companys clients have unique personalities, images and styles and look for fashion to reflect that. We produce all types of clothing. The staff works tirelessly and enthusiastically to create new and innovative designs for all occasions, body types and professions. We use the latest fabrics and technology as needed for each project. We give our clients unwavering attention to ensure the outfits are to their ultimate satisfaction. Our clothing can be seen in music videos, on album covers, in commercials, in the movies, in ad campaigns, on the red carpet, at the Grammy awards, at the MTV Music Awards and in fashion editorials, as well as on stage and television. Our current client lists include sports figures, lawyers, music artists, producers, directors, television and film personalities as well as high-ranking record company executives. 5001 FLAVORS is the brainchild of talented Harlem-born designer, Guy Wood and his business partner Sharene Wood. The duo launched the company after noticing a lack of unique style for many of the artists they had admired in the entertainment industry. Their instincts were right, as a flood of requests for their fashions started pouring in, thanks to a word-of-mouth buzz. It seemed as though one day, we had one client, and the next, 100, says Sharene Wood. We started in the early nineties and worked closely with some of that eras hottest musical acts - Heavy D, Jodeci and emerging artist Mary J. Blige. One client lead to another and our business stared to flourish.We have since grown to include a fleet of experienced tailors, fashion stylists and a small administrative staff. The team works closely to complete each project in a timely fashion and to continuously build its client base while sustaining its relationships among its existing clients. Each year there are tons of new clients as the entertainment industry continues to introduce new personalities and redefine old ones. The process is simple. Usually, a clients record label, assistant, manager or stylist will contact the company in search of a unique outfit. The clients contact will then articulate to the staff the style and look the entertainer is looking for. Our designer creates a unique design and the creation is brought to life with our expert in-house tailors. On average, it usually takes no more than one week to turn around an outfit, but it also varies depending on the clients schedule and demand. Within a week, the fitting takes place. Then the outfit is sent to appear in the next video, on stage, on the red carpet or wherever that celebrity client needs to be. The success of 5001 FLAVORS is also centered on client relationships. We ensure the designs produced match the personality and fit into the lifestyle of each of our exclusive clients. A lasting relationship is built between the clients and the company as we often maintain an artist or athlete as a client as they rise from obscurity to fame. Our clothing is often the element of the artists appeal that sets them apart from others, making the design an indispensable component to theartists success. And artists indelibly become long-term and loyal customers. Hard work and perseverance have enabled 5001 FLAVORS to rise into a renowned manufacturer of the most stylish and innovative clothing available. Guy Wood

Guy Wood is the talented designer behind the companys custom-made

designs of 5001 FLAVORS. Guy was born, raised and educated in New York City.

He cultivated his love of fashion and his unique sense of style while growing up

in the historic neighborhood of Harlem located in the northern part of Manhattan.

His life-long love of fashion combined with

his natural ability to bring forth the vision of others has enabled

5001 FLAVORS to flourish.

Guy has a natural knack for designing and incorporating the latest trends

into his work. His trend-setting creations have been an integral component

contributing to the popularity

and appeal of many artistsboth established and new.

His behind-the-scenes approach is essential to 5001 FLAVORS as he dedicates

his time to completing all of the time-sensitive projects including videos, album packaging, photo shoots, television projects and movie shoots.

Guy oversees all aspects of the creation and actual production of the clothing produced for our clients.

Sharene Wood

Sharene Wood is responsible for all administrative and organizational duties of

5001 FLAVORS. As the President & CEO, her responsibilities also include strategic

planning and financial management. With the company since its inception, her duties are

ever expanding and critical to the companys continued success.

Her keen business sense and love of fashion make her a perfect manager and integral part

of 5001 FLAVORS. Her style complements the company and its mission. She also contributes greatly in the companys client relationship building efforts.

Sharenes expansive contacts have helped 5001 FLAVORS secure its large roster of clients. She is the liaison between the company and many of its clients. She dedicates a lot of his

time to maintaining and establishing new client contacts.

Sharene graduated from Columbia University in 1994 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. She is an active Contingent VI Prep For Prep Alum. Sharene is also a Steering Committee Member for Y.E.S., Young Executives For Success. Y.E.S. is a volunteer and fundraising branch of Dress For Success Worldwide whose main goal is to advance low-income women's economic and social development and to encourage self-sufficiency through career development and employment retention.
